Terms of service

Welcome to AJ’s Mobile Powersport Mechanics. By booking our services or purchasing goods, you agree to the following terms. These Terms are governed by New Zealand law and align with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986.

1. Definitions

"Customer", "You" means the person or entity purchasing goods or services.
"Goods" means all parts and products supplied.
"Services" means mobile vehicle repairs, servicing, and related work.
"Supplier", "We", "Us" means AJ Technical Services Limited (AJ’s Mobile Powersport Mechanics).

2. Pricing

  • All prices include GST.
  • Quotes are estimates only and may change if additional labour or parts are required.
  • We will contact you before proceeding with any extra costs.

3. Payments

  • Payment is due on receipt of invoice.
  • Deposits may be required before services are carried out.

4. Late Payments

  • Overdue accounts may incur interest and late fees.
  • Customers are liable for recovery and legal costs if required.

5. Services

  • Bookings are confirmed once quotes are accepted and deposits (if any) are paid.
  • Services may be rescheduled due to weather or unsafe conditions.
  • You must provide safe access and accurate information about your vehicle.

6. Risk & Insurance

  • You must ensure vehicles and premises are adequately insured.
  • We are not responsible for damage caused by hazards outside our control.

7. Guarantees & Liability

  • Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 apply.
  • If purchasing for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.
  • Our liability is limited to the price paid for goods/services, except in cases of fraud or wilful damage.

8. General

  • Events outside our control (e.g. weather, supply delays) may affect service delivery.
  • We may update these Terms by publishing the revised version on our website.
  • Your personal information will only be used to provide services and comply with New Zealand privacy law.
