We do our best to get orders out quickly, but once a parcel has left us, delivery is out of our hands. Timeframes can be affected by your location, courier capacity, weather, or other factors we can't control. If you have any questions about your order, please get in touch with us directly.
Shipping Rates by Weight
We use weight-based flat rates so you know exactly what you'll pay for shipping before you order. Rates are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order and your delivery address. If your order qualifies for free shipping, this will be applied automatically at checkout with no code needed.

Important Information

Missing or Lost Parcels

If your tracking shows delivery but your parcel hasn't turned up, get in touch with us straight away and we'll look into it with the courier.

Damaged in Transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, hold onto all the packaging and get in touch within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and damaged goods. We'll lodge a claim with the courier and let you know what happens next.

Delivery Requirements

Please use a delivery address where someone is available to receive the parcel, or a secure location or business address. If a signature is required and no one is home, the courier may leave a card and try again or hold the parcel for collection.

Any additional redelivery attempts or storage fees charged by the courier are the customer's responsibility unless we've agreed otherwise.

Out of Stock & Supplier Delays

If something you've ordered turns out to be out of stock, we'll get in touch with your options. That could be a full refund, an alternative product, or a revised timeframe.

We will not charge you for items that we cannot deliver.

Liability

AJ Technical Services is not liable for delays or loss caused by the courier. We will work with you and the carrier to sort out any issues as quickly as possible. Our total liability in relation to goods supplied is limited to the amount paid for the relevant product, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

International Shipping: We only ship within New Zealand at this stage and do not offer international shipping.

How do I know which shipping rate applies to my order?
Each product on our website shows its weight category and the applicable flat rate shipping cost, so you'll know before you place your order. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the items in your order and your delivery address.
How does free shipping work?
Free shipping is applied automatically where the qualifying conditions are met. No code needed. Here's how it works:
  • 0–0.5 kg items: Free shipping on orders $150+
  • 0.5–2 kg items: Free shipping on orders $200+
  • 2–5 kg items: Free shipping on orders $350+
  • 5 kg+ items & single tyres: Free shipping does not apply to these tiers
If your order contains items across multiple weight categories, the rate is based on the heaviest item.
When will my order be dispatched?

Once your order has left us, it's in the hands of the courier and can be affected by your location, courier capacity, weather, or other things outside our control. How do I use the FIRSTRIDE discount code?
Just enter FIRSTRIDE at checkout on your first order. It takes $10 off any order over $100 and works across any weight tier. The code is single-use and can only be applied once per customer.

I'm ordering multiple heavy items. Will I pay multiple shipping rates?
Shipping is calculated on the total combined weight of your order, so you pay one rate based on the overall weight rather than per item. If you're placing a very large order and want to talk through freight options first, get in touch at alec@ajmpm.co.nz before ordering.
What courier do you use? Can I request a signature on delivery?
We use NZ Couriers for all orders. Orders in the 20 kg+ range are sent via freight. If you'd like a signature on delivery, just note it in the order comments at checkout or get in touch after placing your order. Standard delivery is authority to leave if you're not home.
Do you ship outside New Zealand?
We only ship within New Zealand at the moment. If you're based overseas and after a specific part, flick us an email at alec@ajmpm.co.nz and we'll see what we can do.
An item I ordered is out of stock. What happens?
